Biography:

Amber is the founder of Atta Boy! Animal Care. She been working in the animal field for over 18 years. She started in the field by working in the horse industry – stable hand and pet sitter. She then trained as a local Veterinary Kennel hand, Veterinary Assistant and then an Emergency Veterinary Technician for both small and large animals for over 13 years. She has a bachelors of Animal Science from University of Florida in Small Animal and Equine Management. When not thinking all things Atta Boy! – she loves adventures with her 2 human kids and husband, book clubs, growing edible fruit trees, and volunteering with Scouts as a Troop Leader, and goverance.

Amber lives in Lakeland, Florida, with her family and a lively multi‑species household that includes dogs, chickens, turtles, geckos, and more—a testament to her lifelong passion for all animals. Outside of Atta Boy!, she enjoys community involvement, volunteering with organizations including the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, SPCA Florida, and Polk County Bully Project, and serving on professional boards that support animal welfare and professional pet care with prior memberships including Kiwanis Club of Lakeland, Bridge Lakeland and and City of Mulberry Chamber of Commerce

Amber is a dually certified professional pet care expert, recognized by both the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) and Pet Sitters International (PSI), as well as trained through FetchFind, PetSitPro and other continuing education platforms.
